Consistency is Key
   - Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep your audience engaged.
(This does not mean that you have to post multiple times a day, but on the same days, and at the right time that your followers are online)
High-Quality Images
   - Only post high-resolution photos to ensure your feed looks professional and polished, and of course only your own work.
Engaging Captions
   - Write captivating captions that tell a story or provide context to your photos.
Utilize Hashtags Wisely
   - Use relevant and popular hashtags to increase the visibility of your posts.
Interact with Followers
   - Respond to comments and messages to build a community and foster engagement.
Post at Optimal Times
   - Analyze your audience’s activity and post when they are most active.
(You can find the best time in your statistics in a creator or company account)
Use Instagram Stories
   - Share behind-the-scenes content, daily updates, or interactive polls to keep your audience engaged.
Collaborate with Others
   - Partner with other photographers or influencers to reach a broader audience.
Tell a Story
   - Let each photo or a series of photos convey a narrative to captivate your audience.
Edit Thoughtfully
   - Enhance your photos with editing tools but avoid over-editing; keep it natural.
(Or you can do it if you want to create a photo art gallery, but always mention that it is an edited photo, and also show your followers the original)
Monitor Analytics
   - Regularly check Instagram Insights to understand what content performs best and adjust your strategy accordingly.
Engage with the Community
   - Like, comment, and follow other photographers to build relationships and gain inspiration.
Stay Authentic
   - Be genuine in your messages and interactions to build trust with your audience. Don't copy things, be creative, unique, special.
Repost your photo Feature - and repost the feature story
   - There are photo feature hubs that post your photo in their feed, sometimes they ask if you would like to accept the invitation to share the feature in your own feed, so repost that feature, and also repost the feature story they made for you.
Repost photos of the people you follow in your story
   - Showcase photos from your followers and or who you follow, to increase engagement and show appreciation.

And then a few more tips that you should not do!

Don't compare yourself to other photographers or compete
You are all like-minded, you have something in common, namely the love for photography and enjoying posting photos on Instagram's. Enjoy other accounts instead of getting jealous of other people's success. Inspire others, and get inspired by other accounts. However, guard the boundaries of becoming a copycat and/or waging a competitive battle.

Do not post AI art images as a photo
   - I regularly see photographers posting AI art work as a photo, this damages your credibility as a photographer, and I think it is unfair to your followers.
(Creating and posting AI-generated art is feasible; however, it's important to clearly state that the artwork is AI-generated and not an actual photograph. Alternatively, consider setting up a separate AI art account that aligns with your main account to keep AI art distinct from photographs.)

Buying Followers or Likes
Purchasing fake followers or likes can damage your credibility. Instagram actively fights against fake engagement, which can lead to account suspension or deletion.

Using Others’ Content Without Permission
Do not post photos, videos, or other content that belongs to others without proper permission or credit. This can lead to copyright infringements.

Overposting
Posting too frequently can overwhelm your followers and cause them to unfollow you. Find a balanced posting schedule.
Ignoring Your Followers
Engage with your followers by responding to comments and messages to build a strong community. Ignoring them can make you seem unapproachable.
Not Securing Your Account
: Ensure your account is secure by using a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication to prevent hacking attempts.

By following these golden rules, you'll create a visually appealing and engaging Instagram photography account that attracts and retains followers.
